Reflections

SlopTeacher is live, but shipping it feels more like the beginning than the finish line.

Building it pushed me beyond product thinking into the realities of building and managing a product end to end. I had to understand the frontend, backend, APIs, security, and what it takes to keep a product running after launch.

It taught me that product management isn't just about identifying problems and defining features. It's also about understanding the systems behind the experience, making trade-offs, and taking responsibility for what you ship.

There's still a lot I don't know, across engineering, development, and product management. SlopTeacher is my first step toward understanding how these pieces work together, and I know that understanding will take more than one launch.
